Hogaan Microfinance Becomes Full Member of the Somali Microfinance Association (SOMMA)
Hogaan Microfinance proudly participated in the General Assembly of the Somali Microfinance Association (SOMMA) held in Mogadishu. The assembly brought together microfinance institutions and key stakeholders from across the sector to discuss collaboration, sector development, and the role of microfinance in supporting inclusive economic growth in Somalia.
The event also featured the awarding of membership certificates to institutions that are part of the association. During the ceremony, Hogaan Microfinance was officially presented with a certificate confirming its full membership in SOMMA.
This recognition reflects Hogaan Microfinance’s commitment to strengthening the microfinance sector and advancing financial inclusion across Somalia. Through its membership in SOMMA, Hogaan Microfinance will work alongside other institutions to promote responsible finance, share industry knowledge, and support policies that strengthen the microfinance ecosystem.
